LODGING – INN & COTTAGES
Tara Point Inn – Consists of 3 Rooms
With three rooms in total, the Inn rooms at Tara Point feature private bedroom and bathroom. Each room has a king-sized bed, private bathroom, and in-room television. The game room space, kitchenette, wet bar, and coffee bar areas are shared among all guests of the Inn.
Riverside Rooms – Options 1 & 2
Among the accommodations available to guests are one of two rooms in the Inn that overlook the river. Both offer breathtaking views, airy cathedral ceilings and sliding door access to a shared deck overlooking the city of Grafton and the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers.
Riverside Room #1 is decorated brightly in delicate colors. Riverside Room #2 features rich, masculine colors.
Perhaps the best feature of these rooms is the view that you get from your own window. Romantic sunsets shouldn’t be missed, and they can be viewed from the bedroom or outside on the deck immediately beyond your private sliding door.
All guests of the Inn are invited to use the game room and its attached deck.
Delta Queen Suite – Option 3
The Delta Queen Suite is named after the famed paddle wheeler that cruised the Mississippi, making occasional stops at Grafton. The only suite in the main house, the Delta Queen includes a sitting room with a sofa-sleeper and a large king-sized bed in a separate bedroom. The suite offers a park like view and guests have free access to the adjoining game room with its spectacular upstream overlook. The entrance from the game room opens up onto a small hallway, ensuring your privacy, peace and quiet.
Private Bathroom: The Delta Queen Suite feature a private bath. Although the bath includes a shower, there is also a large whirlpool bathtub suitable for two in your own sitting room.
Rooms are available in the Inn for $193.00 plus tax per night from Sunday to Thursday, and $215.00 plus tax per night on Friday and Saturday.
Tara Point Cottages – A More Private Experience
Tara Point Cottages are located on the same bluff as the Inn, yet nestled a bit further back, with three buildings holding 8 cottage suites. Advertised as a more private experience, each cottage suite has a private porch and features nearly identical sunny south-facing views towards the river.
The cottages are large suites, that include a private sitting room with a TV, electric fireplace, and wet bar consisting of a refrigerator with ice in the freezer above, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, plus the supplies to make coffee, tea, & hot chocolate. The sitting room sofa opens into a queen size sleeper should you have extra guests. Each cottage offers a spacious bedroom with a king-sized bed and a private window seat so you may enjoy the river view at any time. The cottages feature private baths. All include a whirlpool tub large enough for two, and a separate shower. Please scroll further for photos of how each cottage suite is set up.
To accommodate larger parties, the adjoining double doors can be unlocked between pairs of suites for easier passage.
Cottage suites are available for $204.00 plus tax per night from Sunday to Thursday, and $245.00 plus tax per night on Friday and Saturday.
Please note, Cottage guests are not granted permission to the Inn game room space, for it serves as the “living room” for Inn guests.
Friendly Reminder for All Guests:
